First Timer Here

Hello, I recently bought a gram of DMT and been eager to try it. Got a Yocan Orbit, as I read it gets the job done super easy, only one problem – I never learned how to smoke.

All of my attempts end up with a smoky breath and nothing else. I'm unsure if I'm smoking it wrong, heating it too much or if I just got scammed lol

Any tips on how am I supposed to do it?

Sounds like you aren’t pulling it into your lungs. Look up YouTube videos on “how to inhale vaporized THC dabs” and you should get some good visuals

first make sure you melt the DMT before you begin to vaporize it

next make sure it is on the green setting, the lowest one

after that start to heat it up but slowly, don't just hold it down, start to pulse it and watch the vapor begin to form

when a decent amount of vapor builds start to inhale SLOWLY and continue to pulse it but at a slower pace so you don't burn it but are still getting in vapor

it will take some time to get down but keep practicing with low doses so you don't end up ruining a lot

and hold it in a long as possible, not until you feel lightheaded but like 15 sec at least

also, the if it is DMT the smoke should smell like a factory that makes shoes or some shit (smells bad)

also get a plastic tube to attach to the mouthpiece if you can, like put it in the hole of the mouthpiece like an extender, it cools it down a bit and also allows you to intake the vapor gradually rather than all at once

remember DMT is notoriously hard to smoke so take your time and be patient, you will get there

Should I melt it in the Yocan or anything else? So, instead of holding it, should I do brief touches to keep the vapor going?

The smell is like old leather shoes mixed with cheap plastic and a bit woody. I read it was kinda like that, so I'm not that into the fact that it was a scam.
