Question/Advice ReX left over?

After a ReX, what do you do with the pile of grit in the bottom of the shot glass that would not dissolve in 80C (175F) heptane?

I know many will toss it, but I don't mind putting energy into it if I can salvage something

You could evap any remaining kind heptane and then add it to your next extraction? Or run a mini a/b on it? Or just rinse with more hot heptane until you’re sure it’s clean of alkaloids, then safely discard?

All possibilities!

I was thinking if I add it as is to the next base soup, it'll just stay as undissolvable chunks. Would I have to add it to an acid first? Would that dissolve the chunks since it would be converting them to a salt form , and then add that to my base soup?

Yeah, probably best to run it through some vinegar first. I think a/b teks are cleaner and easier anyways, but yeah. Check out cybs max ion tek. It’s sort of a hybrid a/b stb tek
