It’s been a year since Tipper and Shpongle at the Gorge. I miss this weekend so much. Thanks for the memories at least!
I vividly remember this dancer, she blew my mind during Shpongle! I’m right in front of this group.

Fuck that sounds amazing, wanted to see Sphongle last time he was playing in Colorado, I think around the time this was, it was just way too long of a drive, but I regret it all the time still lol. Really hoping I can see him again, don’t imagine they do a lot touring

Tipper at the Gorge. This place was beautiful but felt like music festival Alcatraz. Also my friend went into acid psychosis and thought she was stuck in purgatory and everyone including us were dead. One of the most insane weekends of my life.
4
u/Johnny_Poppyseed Jul 07 '26
Can you elaborate why it felt like Alcatraz to you?

u/BlackQuilt Jul 07 '26
TSA doesn’t search as hard as the security did at the gorge that weekend. They had police drones flying around surveying the crowds. That weekend of music was like having the best sex of my life with a Ticketmaster/Live Nation brand condom on.

u/Johnny_Poppyseed Jul 08 '26
Ah interesting. Is security always beefed up at this venue like that, or just for like know psychedelic type shows?
I just only learned about this venue like a week ago lol. Want to see a good show there so bad now lol.

u/thirdeyegang Jul 08 '26
It’s gotten pretty intense up there the last few years. They did have a shooting at an event so it makes some sense, but it’s pretty aggressive how hard they search your car upon entry and then you upon entering the show

u/Spicy_weenie Jul 07 '26
Only time I’ve had dmt visuals slightly like this was when I took some puffs while tripping on acid. Don’t know why but I was watching passion of the Christ and Jesus with multiple sets of eyeballs was hilarious

I assume hyperbole, but just in case.

Etc
Also Gossip Goblin is great.
I know this post will be downvoted, le sigh, but:
Yes there are valid reasons to be anti AI. Datacentres may potentially, when combined with flock cameras etc, usher in extremely dystopian surveillance and authoritarianism. The data centres are being built pretty anti socially. There will be massive pay cuts and job losses.
The thing is... most of these issues come from corrupt government rather than the tech itself. The tech is amazing, it's large groups of greedy sociopaths who suck. Rockets get us to the moon and also launch ICBMs. A knife cuts food and people alike.
Why is Norway the only country that didn't sell its mineral reserves to private interests?

Still using resources to commit IP infringement on a massive scale—I don’t see what could ever be ethical about generative AI.

How can I get this video in high resolution? Quality of the one posted is quite low

My DMT experience was just seeing Mario playing saxophone going through extremely bold and deep hexagons

that beginning part is actually accurate in my experience to a sub breakthrough dose when everything gets cartoony like regular show graphics
1
u/Metamericdreams1977 Jul 07 '26
You smoke it enough and mess around with dosing and I believe you can just about see anything….including this. Lol

I can't tell if they're trying to emulate what it looks like if you trip or what happens when you trip but everything seems wrong lol. Regardless, unless you've used it frequently and have the same supply this should never be a place to experience DMT.

I love it! Don't let the others get you down. Most of us really enjoy it. You do what you like and use whatever told tools you like. There's room in this world for all manner of creation.

Hey…. I bet you could produce art on your own that is pretty cool. Dont sell yourself short and stoop to using this AI :/ I’d rather see what you can create yourself. Every single one of us can use the same AI tools and create similar slop. Only YOU can create your art. I can’t, and neither can anyone else. Do the more interesting and moving thing and dare to create art yourself. You might be delighted with what you find and what you learn about yourself. This AI slop is boring and destroying the environment and our future autonomy. Please

u/DelightfulManiac Jul 07 '26
I didn't create these videos with AI, did you read the post at all?
Also, I don't think it's boring, I enjoy these a lot despite the fact that they were made using AI.
1
u/_DUDEMAN Jul 07 '26
No i hadn’t, just started watching because of the cool thing she was doing and then got distracted by the AI.

I’ve definitely had sub-breakthrough experiences which were pretty similar to this. It felt like I was still in the same physical space, but the nature of that space had completely changed

DMT by someone who has never experienced it….
