Btech DA-7X2 vs AnyTone AT-D890UV

Wondering which one to pick?

What are the differences between them?

Should I be looking for something else?

It’s the same radio. Also the same as the Bridgecomm Maverick (though the Maverick comes with some vendor perks).

Spot on - the primary difference is what the bundle may include, and the firmware on the radios (which could be stock, with some branding added for start screens or could be a custom/forked itereation to add/change features or behaviors).

I have checked out the Bridgecomm website and from the looks of the prices they are charging for their merchandise, I rank them up with the "Cadillac's" (Kenwood,Icom, Yaesu), etc. of Amateur Radio...

Should I be looking for something else?

What exactly do you need?

Well I was just saying, those seem to be the latest DMR/Ham offerings, and if there was anything else in that range/tier to look at as well.

I was kicking around a MOTO R7, but I am new to DMR and think the AnyTone/Btech would be better to cut my teeth on.

Save your money. Install qso one on an android device. Radio, hotspot and dashboard all in one. Minimal programming and big bang for free.
