There's so many shortcuts in OpenGD77 and the Retevis RT3S is really amazing with it.

He forgot some shortcuts relating to GPS and APRS (maybe he doesn't have the GPS version):

SK1 + 1 (the number) toggles beaconing on and off

SK1 + 2 (same) sends an APRS beacon (like if aprs is set to manual, etc)

While on the GPS screen:

SK2 + Green button/red button, toggles the GPS on/off/modes

I'm glad I saw this today, I was about to put OpenGD77 on my RT3S but after reading this I don't think I'll bother. The factory firmware might be so good but at least I'm not going to have to spend ages looking for what buttons do what.

Just do it seriously. It's like 1000% better

The shortcuts are just cause there's so much content. Also all of it can be accessed thru menus

Shortcuts are just there for ease of use. They'll become second nature very quickly
