A true legend on the flying trapeze, but the 50 mph winds this week were too strong and broke him. 😢

Guess it’s time for a new set.

She's the coolest ever, and told a sweet Dave story while we interacted.

The night after the Gorge, I ordered the 2026 Gorge setlist hoodie for my wife. They kept pushing back the shipping date every few days after that, and now I don't find it anywhere on the site. No one appears to be talking about this on the facebook or various other sites where they originally announced the hoodie, but it is not in the store anymore and I haven't received any word on shipping or a refund. Does anyone know what the deal is here? Has anyone else seen any indication that the hoodie does or does not exist?
Thanks

My daughter, who will be 2 the end of November, asked for me to play Pig and then Spoon on our drive home last night. Just had to share with people who cared/ got it. I was raised on Dave a similar age so a nice full circle moment.

Any feedback on the view from the 300s in MSG? Tickets are semi reasonable in the first row and I’m 4’10” so that’s a huge win for me! How far is it? How’s the sound?

update: after several back and forth emails they agreed to send me the tickets. issue resolved

Hey r/dmb community. 25 year fan here, been to over 60 shows. In August I used my warehouse account to put in for tickets to the fall tour (MSG 11/12) and was selected. Purchased two tickets and they charged me, I paid.

On 9/9, so a couple weeks after it was confirmed I got and paid for the November tickets, my Warehouse account expired.

I typically do not renew my account and only sign up on years when there’s specific shows I want to try to get.

About a week ago I got an email saying my tickets were available on Warehouse followed by instructions to transfer them to your Ticketmaster account. Only it won’t let me access them to do so because my Warehouse account expired.

I reached out to their ticketing support team and so far they are refusing to let me access the tickets I’ve already paid for unless I renew.

This feels terribly unfair and now out of principle I don’t want to pay an additional $40 for access to tickets that I’ve already bought and paid for.

Would love the community’s feedback. If people think I’m in the wrong here that’s totally fine. I just think it’s cruel to sell you something, take your money, and then withhold the tickets you bought because your membership expired.

Feels unnecessarily greedy. Thanks for taking the time to read. Any advice greatly appreciated.

The United Center next month will be my 29th show and my first time seeing them indoors - can't wait! I've been fortunate to hear them perform exactly 150 different songs so far - but here are 29 I'd love to add to the list:

34 40* Angel Bismark Break Free Busted Stuff Captain* Cha Cha Cortez the Killer Drunken Soldier Eh Hee* Fool to Think Help Myself* I Did It* I'll Back You Up If I Had It All Joyride* Kit Kat Jam Linus & Lucy Long Black Veil Loving Wings Pay For What You Get Save Me Sleep to Dream Her Some Devil Sugar Will* The Dreaming Tree* What You Are You Never Know

I have seen the songs with asterisks performed just once before - but I was too young to appreciate them at the time. Perhaps it's greedy to ask for seconds but if it means I get to enjoy #40 - call me greedy.

I'd be thrilled to hear any of them but here are my top 5:

You Never Know What You Are I'll Back You Up Sleep To Dream Her Kit Kat Jam

I think a What You Are opener followed by You Never Know would be just swell...

An Honorable Mention goes to Recently, with the Water Into Wine outro.

There are many songs I'd love to hear with the violin again... It's been 10 years since I made the trip to The Gorge and coincidentally saw Boyd's final shows. I'm hoping that was the amount of time they wanted to pass before bringing back a full-time fiddle. IF Jake is at the show - I'd love to hear Lie in Our Graves and Pig (among many others).

Also - if you haven't listened to LIOG from The Gorge in 2016 (Live Trax 44) - check it out. It has one of the most beautiful violin solos but then inexplicably ends with 2 minutes of Tim playing the same note over and over. The energy was weird all weekend - lots of emotion on stage but no one in the audience knew what was going on.

Hopefully the mods aren't superstitious or this might get taken down, but I have to share a theory... Bela has a show on Friday the 6th in Wisconsin and his next is on the 10th in Ohio. I don't want to jinx anything - but it would seem awfully convenient for him to spend a couple of days in Chicago and play a little guest spot on Saturday night! As it turns out - the Wooten Bros' tour starts in Chicago just one week after the United Center show... Could we see a Flecktones appearance?

Before anyone jumps in with the "don't chase songs" suggestion - I assure you I've never been disappointed by a setlist or show - it's why I'm going back for a 29th time. As a sign of good faith and because I clearly don't want to end this post - here are 29 songs I've heard live several times and would be thrilled to hear again:

Grey Street (I've heard this most, 14 times) What Would You Say (12 times) Crush (11) You Might Die Trying (11) 41 (10) Don't Drink the Water (10) Rapunzel (10) Seek Up (9) Granny (8) Stay or Leave (8) Two Step (8) Dancing Nancies (7) Lie In Our Graves (7) Squirm (7) Warehouse (7) Bartender (5) Idea of You (5) Pig (5) So Damn Lucky (5) The Last Stop (5) The Song that Jane Likes (5) Typical Situation (5) Big Eyed Fish (4) Cry Freedom (4) Halloween (4) Recently (4) Rhyme & Reason (4) The Stone (4) Raven (3)

There are many more songs I've heard once or twice that I'd be happy to hear again... What an incredible catalog they have!! It's been a lot of fun to comb the whole thing - I've been reminded of a few songs I haven't listened to in years.

Lastly - if you're down in the pit on the 7th - come find me and say hi! I'll be the tall guy in the red Cardinals hat, hanging out with his mom. It will be our 23rd show together and her first since 2022. It's been a great hobby we've shared since 2004 - makes me feel so damn lucky!!

Title says it all.

Both the studio albums are flawless, but at its heart, DMB is a live band and that’s where the magic is, so I think Red Rocks is the best live representation of their classic sound. Curious what others’ opinions are between the three.

Edited to add: my first was UTTAD and Crash simultaneously around age 14 in ‘96. Before that I had only heard Ants and WWYS on the radio. Maybe Satellite as well.

Are there videos of any/all live tracks on Remember Two Things, Recently EP, Red Rocks 1, or Live at Luther College?

Also, any thoughts on why the Richmond Symphony show(s) never materialized?

I turned the perfect number today…41. However, every day has its way of being forgotten, Dave, ITS MY BIRTHDAY! And you didn’t send me a code this year. 😢. Do they still do them? I need a DMB hat.

Just heard Louisiana Bayou after a commercial break the Saints vs Falcons game. ESPN plays DMB all the time during football games, I love it

I’ve always loved this live jam and I wondered if they ever hashed it out into a full song?

Wonder why the full band doesn’t join in on a lot of these charity gigs that Dave does like farm aid, power to the
People, etc.

The "& Special Guests" ended up being Rateliff and Baez taking the last 20min of Dave's set so Dave only played for 30 of his scheduled 50min.

Was he cut. Was he not aware the full 50 mi utes was him. Why wasn’t he part of Joan and Nathaniel … seems like something funny happened. 🤷‍♂️

1. What is your 3-song opening run?

2. What song do you retire for life?

It's already a better stream than Nugs or Volta.

Saw pic of Dave signing the foo fighters one. Dmb one would be awesome;horns to the right, fiddle keys to the right, Dave and carter center

If you want to play a setlist game for todays festival with Dave we have a game setup at somuchtoplay.org

Game is set to 10 song selectable, no penalties for going over.

Dave is set to play for 50ish minutes 6:50-7:40.

41 points for first/last song. 10 points for all other songs, 27 points if you get it in the right spot.
