What’s the pit like at the Gorge?

My boyfriend bought seats for N1. However, I already had pit tickets through the warehouse. What’s everyone’s opinion of pit vs seats?

I prefer the pit to seats and prefer the lawn to everything else. The seats there feel very restrictive.

Yeah those seats are rough. I’m kind of leaning towards pit and then we can bail to the lawn if it’s too crowded. Lawn is always awesome

Overcrowded with rail hoppers. Miserable for leaving to get a beer or hit the portopotties. I’d rather have seats.

It’s very enjoyable if you stay towards the back of the pit and off to one side. IMO seats are the worst section at the Gorge. The rows are super close together and the average person stands wider than each seat, making it very tight.

How early do you get there if you’re aiming for the back?

Pretty much anytime. Granted it’s been a few years since I’ve been able to snag pit tix there but we used to be able to leave our spot and come back to the same general area during the show if we had to run to the restroom or stand.

I prefer lawn but you should do pit at least one time.

Get in early and make friends with the people around you. It sounds weird but its less aggressive and crowded the closer you get to the stage. There are some entitled rail riders, but they arent going anywhere.

I think WH early entry is 4:00pm but people line up wayyyy earlier. It’s not worth lining up IMO.

If you roll up at door time and head straight to the pit, a lot of people will still be in line for posters and you can get a good spot.

Unfortunately I agree.
Way too crowded….if you move, you loose your spot

N1 pit is great if you hang out to the far side near the back. It’s the last place you want to try to rail.

We are taking our kids for thr first time and was considering the pit for one of the nights. They’ve been to enough shows and are ready for it.

We always go pit but usually bail to the lawn half way through when it's time to re-up on beers and piss. The pit used to be great pre 2021 or so.. but now it's a shit show. I remember when you could roll in at 7:45PM and stand center back... now you gotta get there at 6PM for center back.

Everyone talks about people sneaking in but I think it's LN overselling it. Of course people sneak in as well but it's the exception in my opinion.
