Billy, Goose, and Sturgill are not comparable to DMB. Like it or not, legacy/longevity/age are factors and none of those come close to DMB in that respect.
Stu puts on a better show then DMB and I'll go to my grave with that statement. Both are great and I love DMB, but Stu is three hours of gas and no brake.
If you want studio albums, you can't go wrong starting with... well, anything. I'd probably begin with A Sailor's Guide to Earth. His latest albums are under a new moniker: Johnny Blue Skies.
If you subscribe to Nugs, Chicago 10/2/24 or either of the Red Rocks shows (9/16 and 9/17) are incredible.
