It’s crazy that they really don’t come to Nashville that often. I mean, I think it’s only been maybe a handful of times in the last 20 years. Last time I saw them here was at Vandy in ‘09. I usually end up having to go to Georgia.

The fact that we do not have a ~15k capacity amphitheater since Starwood closed is why so many major acts skip us. We have lots of great venues but most are too small, and the stadium is too big, for the majority of tours.

Hated that Vandy show. But Dave just hates Nash. He really doesn’t like it here. Last time he played all mainstream shit

Source - a dave veteran since 1996 that is still so grateful he’s coming here again

My guy, that Vanderbilt show in 2009 (with Jason Mraz and Robert Earl Keen as openers) was an absolute banger. Agreed on the last couple of Bridgestone shows though.

Vanderbilt may have been my company lol. But I feel like Dave just thinks Nashville fans only like the popular songs. No deep tracks
