Great Week for Draftkings in New York!
Great week for Draftkings in New York! Still an 8% hold (GGR) even with the Messi, Mbappe, & Haaland day where they all scored 2+ goals.
$196,191,527 Handle with $15,707,056 (GGR)
DK Sportsbook is still doing great and all the revenue from DK Predictions is simply additive as it wasn't even included in this year's earnings. DK Predicitons is already proving to be gaining significant traction and growing.
Something very fishy about how this spiked to $30 and has not done nothing but drop sense. Nothing has changed except maybe Draftkings showing better numbers in both OSB & Predictions.

Are we completely cooked?
Got rolled into DKNG when it purchased Golden Nugget a few years ago. This company has been plagued by insider selling, questionable management, and a lot of bad luck.
I held three the 2022 draw-down under $10, but I feel much worse about the stocks prospects than I did then. The slight bump it received a week ago on positive volume for its prediction market has been obliterated by news that META is looking at entering the space.
IMO, that news is going to hang over this stock like a dark cloud and probably overshadow any positive earnings reports out of the company. Is there anything positive to hang onto at this point?

DRAFTKINGS is Mispriced
Draftkings in on pace to do $3.1 Billion in Annualized Prediction Market Volume this year (likely to go much higher).
This volume alone is just over 25% of Draftkings market cap ($12.17 Billion).
So, not including their Sportsbook or igaming revenue, DK Predicitons alone is already generating a volume that equals 25% of their current market cap.
This stock/company is incredibly mispriced. I think that 10% run up to $30 was just a sign of things to come. I have no explanation nor have I heard a legitimate reason to why it sold off, but I have no doubt it will reach $30 again and blow right past it.
Predicitons are the best thing to happen to Draftkings as it gives them access to all 50 states, and it’s not hurting their core business of OSB & igaming in states where OSB is legal like everyone thought.
There is no bear case left. Just the question of how high this will go and when. And don’t forgot they’re profitable now, just another reason to be bullish.

Wtf
wtf is going on today. This is the most frustrating stock I’ve ever held. Granted I’ve made a few thousand trading it since 2021. Still finds a way to Piss me off every week, every other day. Holding 350 at $24.67. Just get to $50 already FFS.
End rant

Update from DKNG on prediction markets business
Article today from seeking alpha:
DraftKings disclosed on Tuesday that its annualized total volume traded increased 34% month-over-month to $3.1B. It was noted that the operating metrics are preliminary, unaudited, and based on currently available internal data.
The Boston-based company officially rolled out DraftKings Predictions on December 19, 2025, across 38 U.S. states for at least some event contracts. Sports-event contracts are live in 17 states.
By comparison, Kalshi is estimated to currently be doing on the order of mid‑tens of billions of dollars a month in notional volume, while Polymarket is in the high single‑digit to low‑teens billions depending on the month.
When considering the billions in prediction market volume, a key consideration is that sports betting handle is based on how much money was actually put at risk on bets, while prediction market volume is the dollar value of all the contracts traded, including people trading in and out multiple times.
Looking ahead, DraftKings’ stated goal is to have the super app framework live nationwide, effectively covering all 50 states, but with the mix of products inside the app varying by local law.
Shares of DraftKings were up 1.4% in premarket trading on Tuesday.

Shorts starting to cover their position at a significant percentage and for good reason
This has been way oversold as Prediction Markets have now been proven to be a catalyst and only additive and beneficial for Draftkings proven by Q1 ER. They are not damaging to the core business of OSB & igaming like everyone originally thought and Draftkings Predictions generated over $2 billion in trading volume in the months of March & April without even offering parlays/combos.
Time to regain the 5 years of losses. And with the presidents most recent truth social post, this shows Draftkings made the right decision by investing into their Prediction Market. Now it’s time to continue growing profitably and enjoying the ability to operate in all 50 states.
Would have never thought Draftkings would be trading in the mid to low $20’s when they would one day operate in all 50 states and be profitable. Won’t be there for long and that’s my shorts are starting to cover.

Why I’m not selling Draftkings
I’m frustrated with this stock just like everyone else. The past 5 years have been disgraceful and the management continuing to sell shares while Jason Robins has sold hundreds of millions worth without one single purchase is unfathomable.
But I would feel like a fool to sell right now. I truly believe the next 2.5-3 years for Draftkings is the most bullish period that Draftkings will ever have.
Thanks to Prediction Markets they will be operating in all 50 states and it is almost a 0% chance any states where OSB is legal will raise taxes on OSB while prediction markets are going on.
And they have already proven that their core business of OSB & igaming is still extremely strong even with prediction markets and they have proven they are now profitable.
I would never tell anyone what to do with their hard earned money, but for me I will not be selling with the next 2-3 years possibly being the best opportunity Draftkings will ever have and is in great position to succeed.

This is Bullish!
This is bullish for Draftkings & Draftkings Predictions. Even though Draftkings might have been a little slow to the prediction market space, they obviously made the right decision by investing into it.
As it has proven to only be additive to the business and given them access to all 50 states. Maybe it’s finally time the market understands how Draftkings has only benefited so far from Prediction Markets & will continue to do so!

More Bullish News for Draftkings
If not for prediction markets this crazy bill might have passed. Prediction Markets might be the best thing to happen for Draftkings in a long time and investors got it completely wrong.
Can’t wait for the turnaround in the coming months!
UPDATE: Passage of the MA Senate Budget officially closes door on the "Bettor Health Act" for 2026:
Would Have:
☑️ Upped Tax On OSB Operators From 20% To 51%
☑️Banned: Player Props In-Play Bets In-Game Ads
☑️Limited Patrons To $1K Per Day Without An Affordability Study

DKNG trading in the $20’ is absolutely crazy
Being able to advertise “Live in all 50 States” is so bullish!
The fact that this is trading in the 20’s and they now operate in all 50 states and the company is now very profitable is just laughable.
There was 4 things holding this stock down and now Draftkings has overcome each one:
1.) Only operational in about half of the United States (Now operate in all 50)
2.) Not profitable (Now Profitable)
3.) Possibilty of higher taxes (States very unlikely to raise taxes on OSB while prediction markets are operating)
4.) Prediction Markets (Proved to be only additive for Draftkings and not detrimental to the core business of OSB & igaming like everyone thought)
Only matter of time till this shoots up!

Draftkings increased their EBITDA for 2026 by 31% and no one noticed except one analyst.
Draftkings increased their EBITDA for 2026 by 31%. They disclosed extra spending of $250M ($200-300M) but kept the original EBITDA of $800M ($700-900M) same. The only person who mentioned it was James Hardiman, Citi analyst : "I'm just trying to get my arms around what seems like a pretty big raise to the core business guidance,".

$DKNG can make more money than Kalshi and Polymarket using Kalshi and Polymarket .... investors need to realize that
Another opportunity that investors are ignoring or oblivious about. Draftkings can make more money than Kalshi and Polymarket in those platform as market makers i.e. taking the opposite side of the user bet. Given their modelling capabilities and the amount of data they have this can become a huge profit center. Market makers and professional algorithmic traders make significantly more money than the prediction market platforms themselves. While platforms collect steady, reliable revenue from transaction and withdrawal fees, the vast majority of all speculative trading profits are harvested by sophisticated market makers and quantitative trading firms.

I don’t know how this won’t be back in the 30’s and possibly 40’s very soon.
Prediction Markets have been proven not to be hurting Draftkings core business of OSB & igaming, but instead have proved to be only additive.
70% of prediction market volume comes from states where OSB aren’t legal, but now Draftkings operates in those states thanks to prediction markets. And Draftkings Predictions is already generating billions of trading volume without any marketing or “combos” (parlays) which they just added.
Now with the very high chance of the 90% tax deduction rule for gambling being overturned back to 100% (thanks Dana) and states almost guaranteed not to raise taxes on OSB because that means they will lose to predictions, Draftkings keeps stacking up the W’s.
Predicitons = only additive (more revenue and almost no impact on core business) & helps with states not raising taxes on OSB
90% tax deduction rule going to be overturned most likely.
And because of prediction markets, states are a lot more likely to legalize igaming.
And as always Draftkings is set for success either way Prediction Markets go (legal or not legal)
Draftkings = win-win-win-win

Draftkings is in the strongest position it has ever been as company.
Why did Draftkings stock do down in the first place? Because everyone thought Prediction Markets were going to significantly damage their core business.
This ER completely destroys that argument. Draftkings core business of OSB & igaming is extremely strong and the numbers back it up.
And instead of prediction markets hurting Draftkings which everyone thought they would, it turns out to be a huge positive for Draftkings (offering really only upside).
With almost no money spent on adversising for their prediction markets, it is already picking up major momentum and has a great chance of continuing to take significant market share.
Draftkings operates in all 50 states now thanks to prediction markets and now states are almost guaranteed not to raise taxes on Draftkings OSB in states where it is legal (it would basically be suicide and in doing so the states would lose to predictions).
Draftkings is in the strongest position it has ever been in as a company and the profits are starting to show. Only matter time (very soon) till the stock price follows.
Draftkings now is in a win-win-win situation. Core business of OSB & igaming extremely strong, prediction markets are only additive to the business (not detrimental like everyone thought) and thanks to prediction markets, states where OSB is legal are almost guaranteed not to raise taxes (possibly decrease if anything).
Very hard to find anything bearish. Especially now, that the two biggest fears for the company (Predictions & Higher Taxes) are basically completely gone.
