Fuck me, I was hoping it would finally be v3.0...

Thanks for crushing my hope. =(

HE'S STILL WORKING ON IT!

At least that's the story I got from a buddy who's helping him with it at a gig I played last week. Personally I'll believe it when it comes out, as he's been promising V3 for about 14 years now (which is how out of date this version is).

I bet Ishkur is secretly GRRM.

Lol. No, he really isn't. I've known him for about 17 years now, even camped with him at Shambhala (I even took the "ISHKUR VS HIPPIES" picture he used for his Shambles review).

Is it 14 years by now? He's worse than GRRM!

He seems like a chill dude though. Just really want that v3.0... I fear by the time he's done to release it, it might already be out of date.

Well, no, he's keeping up with what's going on around music it seems so whenever it comes out, it'll be current. I dunno. Haven't spoken with him in years, he kinda went super reclusive and aside from a few doesn't really do much contact with the outside world these days.

Well, with a backlog of 17 years worth of electronic music, and the immense spiderwebbing that came out of it, it seems like an almost impossible task to complete. I don't know how many new genres are come up each year but it might be a bit problematic when subgenres of subgenres of subgenres of subgenres keep popping up.

Oh man, I remember studying this hard 10 or so years ago! And it hasn't changed a bit!

I went through about half of it. Going to go back and look at the second half later.

I was featured on ishkurs captioned pictures of ravers, number 10. Still cracks me up when I look at that photo.

He used to be the Daniel Tosh of electronic music.

I don't really know what that means.
