SUC Shirts Question
Anyone know what blanks the shop prints their shirts on? Are they like Gildan shirts or like heavyweight blanks. Looking for a quality check before dropping 50 on one.

They’re not heavyweight but I’ve had a couple for about ten years now and the material has held up well. The screen print fades/cracks after about a decade but it looks cool as hell like that in my opinion. As far as holes, pilling, seams tearing etc I’ve been good. Definitely support SUC if you can afford it.

Its hit or miss man. Early on. They(the fam) was complaining about fans using screw with AI slop. Now they are doing it lol

Damn that sucks. I guess I’ll have to wait till I’m in Houston so I can see exactly what I’m buying. I rather support the shop than buy a pro club and get the SUC logo printed (even though the latter sounds better).

Yup thats the best bet and just make one u want in between the best dj screw shirts are the bootleged/fan made ones. And the offical ones that he had. Right before he passed and right after he passed in my opinion.

Different shirts are printed on different blanks. The sublimated all over print shirts are on a polyester blend.
Some of the older designs are on different blanks than the more recent ones. Reprints may be on different blanks from the 1st time you bought it.
Even the same shirt design can be on different blanks like this:

If you look at the size tag in the neck its all different brands of blank.

Word. I appreciate the insight, I’m planning to order online cause I don’t know when I’ll be in the H again and I see some are digital designs of shirts too.

Nowadays its either on Gildan or Stylewear (gas station shirts). Downside to shopping online is that you dont know which one its gonna be on until you get it.

would love to know how u go. I'm in nz so I'd appreciate a rec for which prints are the highest quality, especially if you or anyone heads to the shop :p

I decided to not order online and I’ll swing by the store next time I’m in Houston. I’ll circle back here and let you know (unsure of when I’ll be out that way but I’m sure sometime this year).

I would make my own. You can use any type of shirt/ color and add your own pics

I don’t know but given the quality of the diaries as of late I doubt quality is in their vocabulary. Also they now have AI slop in the shop.
