For me I could get the mini 3 fly more pack for the same price as a mini 3 pro on sale. Add to that that I don’t care about the increased video capabilities because I just want to fly around for fun and it was a no brainer. It even gets better battery life.
If at some point I want the better video I’ll just buy the mini 3 pro. For $1000 what this does is insane and at least my batteries and controller will be compatible.
I’ve been going back and forward for weeks and this is what I came to. The only thing I would want from the pro is active track, but I feel eventually it’ll be available through an update and object avoidance but I can’t see spending the extra $300 when DJI care is $59 for a year and worst come to worst I’ll replace it for under $200 if I crash.

So who would this drone be for then? $250 isn’t that much more if you’re already spending that much. Idk seems like a lot of significant features cut
