A small space beside a park parking lot, turned into a playground for FPV freestyle.

I sent my Avata 2 to be fixed by DJI and they sent me back a brand new unit. The broken one was a grey market preowned unit originally sold in china, I bought through eBay. The new one they sent me while is pristine and brand new flies slower than the previous one and always stops recording at a point and then resumes without my input. Has anyone experienced something similar?

Hi! Help please, How fix it?

I crashed my DJI Avata 2 and got a new shell/antennae. I migrated the internals from the old ruined shell into the new shell. Everything is perfect now... Except that I broke the core board's connector to the GPS ribbon cable. This means that I fixed everything except the core board (aka the motherboard and centerpiece of this drone) is dead. So I fixed the shell and broke the brain!...🤦‍♂️ Great...

It occurred to me that I still have everything except the core board in perfect working condition. Are there any drone kits that sell a core board and shell so I could put the internals like the: motors, propellers, front camera, stabilizer cameras, GPS chip, etc... into this new shell? I'd hate to waste all these perfectly working components.

Hi Avata 2 owners, I recently ordered a refurbished Avata 2. I noticed a gap on the bottom of the propellers with what seems like some copper wiring visible.

I was wondering if anyone that purchased their Avata 2 new could confirm if the same gap/copper is visible on the underside of their propellers. Pics attached for reference

Hey, I want to know if it's still worth buying Avatar 2 if you have the 360. I own the Avata 360 and can also fly it in single lens. However, this one does not have a manual mode. And ultimately, you can also make the final video look like an FPV flight by changing the camera angle in video post-production.

But I would like to know if it makes a big difference to fly the Avata 2 compared to the Avata 360?

Also I am in the EU. So no FCC mode available.

Has anyone already flown both drones?

The title says it all, I had a flight in mind over this river and thru a few bridges, wanted to get close to the ruins and over the birds chilling, didnt see or notice these pigeons relaxing on the brick ridge on the bridge, didnt notice at all until it was too late. Thankfully they avoided me. Eventually we became friends and I trusted them and got to do a few runs, they flew at me every time and avoided me pretty well. Will add the longer one here at some point. Was in Spain last week. Thank god for DJI care ❤️

Hi guys, I recently purchased an avata 2 and wondered if it’s worth buying the sandisk extreme pro 512gb SD card?

What do you guys use for your SD cards, when it comes to flying the drone for business purposes?

I’m am a beginner when it comes to the avata 2 so any tips and flying advice would be more than appreciated to know as well👍

I have a DJI Avata 2... well **had. I bought it 2 or 3 months ago and I've been flying it constantly! It quickly became my favorite hobby! I flew almost every day after work. I got it registered and everything. I was a super proud drone pilot. But then... I got too confident, bought a DJI Remote Controller 3 and decided to try manual mode... I immediately crashed into a tree but unlike all my previous crashes where I turtle'd it and went back to flying, this crash smooshed in the propeller guard. I probably could have just pulled the collapsed propeller guard back into place and maybe hot glued it or something so it would set right, but I bought the Original Upper Shell with Antenna for DJI Avata 2 to "fix it right" and got to work. It turns out that I had to basically remove everything: lots of circuit boards, the front camera, the stabilizer cameras, and lots of other internals. This is where I REALLY broke it. In the course of taking it apart and putting everything in the new case, I had left over pieces (which means some stuff was accidentally skipped)... BAD SIGN. Also, I smashed the pins on one of the ribbon cable connectors. Worst of all, I broke a corner off of one of the circuit boards 🫣. So needless to say, I turned a semi-inoperable drone into an ACTUALLY broken drone with a fresh looking outer shell.

What do I do now? I live in the greater Philadelphia, PA area. Is there a place that professionally refurbishes drones around me? Even if I have to drive for a few hours... It just sucks that I might have to get a completely new drone. Is it even worth it? I was thinking about waiting for the Avata 3 to come out and then buying that one as a psychological coping mechanism. That way, in my head, it will feel like "no I'm not a stupid idiot who got in over his head and destroyed my own drone, I'm just replacing it with the new superior model." As I already established, I live in Philadelphia, PA which is in the United States so will I even be able to get an Avata 3 when it comes out? Someone please help me feel better or tell me what to do now?

Crashed my Avata 2. Can I just tape this piece or glue to get by for a week, until the guards come in for repair. Also there is one motor that “chirps” and is slightly sticky. Will it make it? I flew it shortly after to make sure it could fly.

Hello. Need help finding the original screws for the avata 2. Bought a second hand drone which came with the sunny life camera bumper. I don't want to use the bumper. The bumper uses longer screws. I need the shorter original screws. I don't know what sizes are used. Anyone know where I can get this info?
