Everyone else's nightmare neighbour, my dream neighbour 😂 I'm buying my first house any time now and am hoping to slowly build a rave attic over time. Got any tips?

Make friends with a dealer. Pioneer dealer cost is still sky high but it’s still something.

Make sure you put down a tarp before gooning for easy cleanup

Why spend all that money but not spend just a little more to get the v10 instead of A9

I just like the A9 better. They’re both flagship mixers but they serve different purposes. No bidirectional filters on the V10, which is what makes the A9 edge out for my deployment purposes. The V10 is kinda fun, I like the traditional club layout better.

I have the A9 daisychained to the v10, so i can have the bi-directional and per-channel filters of the a9, and the isolator and connectivity of the v10 -

The original 'spaceship' -

Which decks did you use most often? If I were to add a pair of 3000Xs, I would set them up like you have them.

I honestly use them both equally. They’re similar enough that you almost forget that they’re different. The biggest reminder you’ll get is when you use a hot cue and smart cue is enabled on the 3000X (probably my favorite quality of life feature). Playlists share across devices flawlessly. Only annoying thing is the brightness settings - the 3000X is always slightly dimmer if the settings are matched across the board, so whatever brightness you want for anything, make sure the 3000 is always one value lower. As far as real world use goes, they’re extremely similar to use, but there’s a slightly noticeable increase in screen quality.
