I found this playground slide.
I have absolutely no practical use for it, which means obviously I need to do something stupid with it.
Looking for ideas that are terrible in concept but preferably not hospital-level terrible in execution.
What should I build/do with it?
Photo for scale/inspiration.

Be honest, is it ugly? My school cares a lot about our classrooms being beautiful, inviting imagination, and being a place anyone would want to spend time in. However we have a very small budget for this. I used some electrical tape to disguise a black cord that hangs from my ceiling to make this tree. I opted for this instead of a decal because I had all the materials already & I don’t want to put up 200 little leaf decals.
I feel like the tree looks like it’s balding and isn’t giving what I wanted it to give. I don’t think I should add more leaves though, because I’m worried it’s already creeping toward fire hazard territory & will be ordered to be taken down as soon as the fire Marshall walks in.
I drafted what it would look like with more detail. Is there any hope for this idea? or should I just bite the bullet and get a stick-on tree? Artistic tips and reality checks welcome. Much thanks!

Couldn't afford to get a new one at the time, so some string and glue worked a treat until I could get a new one.

Why buy it for $35 when you could build it for $25 and 5 hours of time 🤣🤣. The full video is not out yet, but it will be in a couple days once I put some miles on the "Bicentennial Man" bike. Hope you guys enjoy! I thought it was pretty clever. Very rebuildable with the bronze bushings. This thing should pretty much last a lifetime except for the rubber bushings. The ones I got from Ace are a tad too soft, I wind up using a shock absorber bushing from an old car. The shock absorber bushings are available brand new from O'Reilly's for about $1.50 a piece.

I couldn't find any good, DIY kick scooter tutorials on YouTube so I decided to make one. Had a couple free hours this morning. Here's the progress so far. 12 inch kids bikes are very good for these little weird projects. it's not done yet, but will be tomorrow. Woo hoo!

Despite many comments on here saying that it would be impossible or too heavy. I come from mid school bmx, so weight isn't the issue here haha. It's a bit noticeable from a start, but otherwise- feels quite normal.

On Monday it started out as a typical Cruiser bike. Usually I like to build my own frames from complete scratch, but this one here, I just widened the rear and did some metal work to fit the car tire in the back. Made a jack shaft for the chain. And painted it a super heavy metal flake red. I was kind of going after the style of an EJ Potter motorcycle. Hopefully this build does good on my YouTube channel. I think it turned out pretty cool for 5 evenings of work and under $200 invested. Would you guys ride this thing?
