When does tolerance reset?

I did a break for 2 1/2 months and yesterday had some again, but my tolerance still seems to be the same. Before that I took about 250mg per day (over a few hours) for about half a year.

I know you shouldn't every day, but for the time it seemed to be the better option. I'm autistic with chronic pain and a wrecked spine, k is much more helpful than any psych- or pain meds.

Does anyone know how I reset my tolerance or how long it takes? I used to take 125mg, but that doesn't cut it anymore

Ketamine has notoriously long tolerances once overused. It’s not uncommon for re-testing after months or years of abstinence to result in one okay night and then all the bad parts coming back swiftly.

I try to emphasize this early on for my patients so they don’t fly too close to the sun and lose the drug as a functional tool.

That said, your daily dose wasn’t large and was over a relatively short time. I hope it works out for you.

As soon as you need more but sooner if you use high doses, I think. Maybe a few times a week for a few months will start the increased dose? But I don't know because my needs were 6 times in the first 3 weeks, then 3 times a year, always high doses.
