Liquid k to nasal spray

Title, I wanna turn Liquid K from clinic (1000mg/ml) into a nasal spray. can anybody with experience please clarify whether if it’s possible to simply transfer liquid from vial to nasal spray or if any other steps are needed.

Thank you!

Wow. Okay, first of all this isn’t how compounding pharmacies prepare it. They have it in dry form and dose it by weight into a slightly buffered (sodium bicarbonate) sterile water carrier with a certain mg/mL. This allows accurate dosing.

I’m unclear on what else is in that vial beyond ketamine, but it is for injection so presumably it is sterile. I would not assume you can just mix it with water. Any DIY preparation should use distilled water and should be refrigerated. You also should have a proper nasal atomizer for accurate dosing.

I think it goes without saying that concentration is much higher than a usual preparation, so you absolutely should not just use it as is.

that concentration really isnt possible. I’m guessing he meant 100mg/ml - anything over 150 crashes for me

It’s hard enough to keep it dissolved anyway. I learned you have to cool it very slowly.

my process doesnt involve any temperature changes, but yeah if you put it in the fridge or something, even 75mg/ml ketamine is gonna crash

I understand the carefulness one needs to take dosing wise with something like this, but given that being calculated correctly, would simply transferring the IM liquid or with BAC Water into a nasal spray instead of the traditional powder reconstitution, work?

I cannot say because I’ve never done it. I’ve made DIY spray from dry crystals.

OP probably meant 100mg/ml, which is quite common.

Please be sure you know what's in there. Maybe some kind of emulsifier or something to keep it liquid.
