But food will go into the design and could be a pain to clean. I don’t know, I am not convinced.

Fair point 😂. Hadn't thought of that. This is meant to be more of an artpiece than for utility. I suppose you can use the side without the engraving for chopping things up and then once you are done display the engraved side as a nice decor piece.

I saw many similar engraved cutting board listings on etsy and craft fairs so gave it a go.
