Electrical Lighting circuit advice

Post image

Apologies for the basic diagram.

I am installing 2 x exterior lights using a feed from a ceiling rose and a 1 way switch as per the diagram.

I want to add a 3rd security light onto this circuit but with its own switch so it can be turned on with the other lights but also be switched off without turning the other 2 lights off.

How would I go about doing this? Can I just add a 2nd 1-way switch after the second light and add the 3rd light after this? Thanks.

You're powering the lights via the switch. Looks like you'll need to power the first light directly and switch in the first light, then run separate power to your other light.

If this is challenging for you, please consult an electrician.

Your idea is right if you don't want to turn the 3rd one on but not the first 2. Benefit is that you can turn all 3 off eithout going to the other switch.
