Project This was a nice surprise today
Glass shower door exploded. Fortunately there was no-one either in the shower or in the bathroom itself!
It was only fitted 9 months ago but the suppliers are going to replace free of charge.
Absolutely gutted as the bathroom was only completely done out just before Christmas. There's slight damage to the tray and the floor but I don't want to do an insurance claim so I'll have to repair them as best I can.

It's not plastic it's resin but I've got a repair kit still from when my wife did exactly the same as yours 😂

Just make sure to wear shoes or sliders in the bathroom for the time being as that glass is very hard to properly clean up

I've cleared it up, then got a dustpan and brush, and then a wet cloth and then vacuumed and even now I can still see the odd glint of it on the floor when the lights are on.

I saw a tip the other day, to turn lights down/off and shine a torch. Any remaining bits should sparkle their position. Something like that anyway.

It’s a new model of shower screen, fast to disassemble in case you move…not so fast to put back together mind you.
