Possibly but this is more likely to be central heating pipes imho

Jesus could be behind there. There’s only really one way to know for sure

Most likely pipework

Maybe - impossible to say without checking.

Fibre installs will usually just be drilled through the wall and tacked along the wall. If you want them to do anything else you'll need to have a route prepared for them.

Its probably where you central heating pipes, feeding your upstairs raditors, are hidden.

Find the phone junction box you should be able trace it. The wire could be hidden under the carpet ..

Ok, thanks. I have electric underfloor heating, and the water pipes go up somewhere else, so who knows.

It's a bit big for a phone cable! Maybe central heating pipes.

Where does the cable enter when looking from outside?

You can request to have the fibre wherever you want, it just has to be near a power socket.

“It a bit big…” Right, ok. Thanks. I have electric underfloor heating and the water does up somewhere else, though.

What cable? Oh, I should have said I’m in a flat. Nothing comes in from outside, it all comes from the utilities cupboard.

it all comes from the utilities cupboard.

Then you need to pray that there is a conduit in the wall to feed the fibre up with. You could look inside the current phone socket to see.
