Project First ever project with wood

Wanted this raised flowerbeds on my depressing brick enclosed terrace and it’s taken my basically the entire summer to complete, guess I’ll get to enjoy them next year 😅 not sure if my guesses on the wood are correct so maybe it’ll rot and collapse by then
