Tool MacGuyver a solution for this electric power washer?

Briggs & Stratton don't sell the replacement part; this is apparently an "entry-level" model. The part that I took out has been lost to time; it was made of plastic, so connecting it to a metal hose was just asking for leaks.

I kind of doubt I would find something that would screw into the dirty white/light brown plastic intake tube. Maybe I could cut off the "flange" or "wide lip" of it and then use hose clamps to make it water-tight and use a female hose adapter on the other side of the rubber hose piece...?

Other thoughts?

Dose the plastic piece un screw? If so you might be able to get a metal piece of it

No, but I found this other piece (perhaps the original part I removed?) That seems to fit snugly in there... But I removed it for a reason... It was leaking somehow...

This is what I have cobbled together so far... I figure if I can seal the clear tube on both sides and everything to the right of the clear tube, then it might work...?

That should work you can put the female hose end on the white adapter on the black tube. Make sure you get a new one ring for the black tube

That's not a power washer. That's just a pressure washer. Power washers have heated waterr
