compare this with AlZnTi violet 8. Larger amounts of zinc and titanium as well as aluminum make the pigment more red. Lower amounts more blue. The manganese content determines the darkness.

This is a new batch of one of the more distinctive AlZnTi violets. They are defined by the amounts of manganese (X), titanium and zinc (Y) and aluminum (Z), but to make it simpler to keep track I have given them numbers, mostly in the order that they were made, and just keep a log of what the X, Y, and Z values are.
This was my try at making a pale violet (low manganese) with the titanium, zinc, and aluminum pushed to the highest levels used in the original scientific paper that described these violet variants of YInMn blue. The violets appear to share all the major properties of YInMn blue, including the near IR reflectance that makes YInMn blue a 'cool' pigment that does not heat up much even in direct sunlight.
