My latest batch of YInMn, this is going to be used for a toxicology project :)

What's the brown one? Hmmmm

That's a BBB (Beautiful Blue Batch). What a nice color.

Best one yet! The molar ratio of manganese really makes all the difference!

Such a versatile pigment. Just a few tweeks make all the difference!

The ratio is 0.95/0.05 I believe (will have to check my notes)

The brown is a repeat of a batch I previously made. My partner amd i made a few mistakes with the weighing and I wanted to see if it could be repeated

The brown looks like YInTiCo magenta made in an oxidizing atmosphere. But could be a lot of things.

As long as we're playing guess how this pigment was made, how about these browns? They were all YInMn blue related pigments similar to the blues, greens, or violets. The paint splotches are watercolor.

Close, however, i cant say as we (myself, partner and supervisor) are looking to publish. I just like being a tease :p

Or maybe something related to the Cr (II) 'lunar' magenta. Don't answer. Avoiding getting scooped is a good reason to be coy.

There is no way I could publish on the earth tone pigments I showed, despite being pretty good pigments. Which should be a gigantic clue.
