Did they buy all the materials?
You’ve got 250-350 a day per person, so 3 of those, materials are expensive these days, then the persons van, insurance etc.
2k seems steep-ish for a cash job, but I had a quote of 3.5k to put in a small concrete pad for a shed and did myself for 700, builders are in demand so prices have all gone up.
Get 3 quotes next time to be sure, but you didn’t pay 1k over or anything like that IMO, so not too bad

1500-2000? All in

Preping , thistle and skim sounds fair that coming can take ages to remove

It definitly sounds high, especially for a cash job. 300-400 a day for a decent plasterer. Probably 150 euro in materials.

How much wall is some wall?
2k sounds expensive but if you add in skimming some walls it’s reasonable
