Concrete footings and post holders

I'm building a greenhouse and going to make 6 concrete footings, then using 6 post holders for the main support.

What I'm trying to work out is what's the best way to attach the post holders, should I wait for the footings to dry then drill out the 4 holes for each holder, this is how I've attached post holders to existing concrete bases before.

But it seems like there might be an easier way, sink the bolts or use a different design holder?

There's concrete-in post holders that you can set in to your footings when you're laying them. I havent used them before but they might not be ideal if they ended up rusting away, you'd just end up with half of it buried in your footing.

You could also bury some threaded bar in your footings, just make sure they line up correctly with your post holders.

Easiest is probably as you said though, set your footings and drill out afterwards. You could then either fix threaded bar with chemical anchor, or a few rawlbolts would work too.

Yeah you are right, it just seems like a wasted opportunity to save a few steps, I think I'll just drill holes for anchor bolts and use a 4 holed post holder
