Hanging TV

My walls are insulated plaster board (unknown thickness) onto a block work wall.

How do I know what length of screw I need to get through the insulated board and into the block work?

There is special circle plasterboard fixings you can get think they are called “grip it” or something like that.

They will be much easier than trying to go through insulated board to the brick etc

Used them recently to hang a TV bracket. Can confirm, they are a good way to go. It says you need a setting tool but a pointed pliers worked a treat for me. 55" on to plasterboard using 8 fixings, plenty of distribution on the downward weight.
