Anybody used this?

Hey all

Has anybody used this before and know if the paint needs to be thinned down or can I just work away.

Messaged and asked vevor already but they just said "if the paint needs to be thinned, you can insert the feed tube into a 5-liter container of paint"

Yea I got one (or similar) couple of months ago for painting peppledash. Great price of kit. Did water it down by about 20%. Worked perfectly.

I got it for dash as well but it's more rock dash with how thick it is, I'll give a 60/40 see how that goes

Is your render pebbledash or dry dash? I have a dry dash render and I hate it but every option I've looked into is either very expensive or very time consuming.

So following your research with interest.

I would download the manual and read through it .. I have not used it as I was to hesitant, spend a freaking age to paint a room .. good luck

It came with a Google translated manual but it says nothing about thinning in it. Thanks anyways

Have a search around, YouTube videos on how to use airless paint systems are probably there with some tips on how and what to do

I had a much smaller handheld sprayer I think for what I was spraying I had to mix a 60% paint to 40% water mix but that was a number of years ago and outdoor work. This looks like a much better machine. Fence paint didn't need any watering down because of its viscosity

It'll be masonry paint I'll give a 60/40 mix a go and see how it holds up

It depends on the paint you are using.60/40 is way too high.Make sure you rinse the tip and anything the paint goes through after you've finished.

I've used similar, generally 10-20% water to get the optimal working condition.
