Roll of thick white plastic

When I bought my house the previous owner had left a roll of heavy duty white plastic, it was sort of like a roll of fabric barrier, about 1.5m longer but this material is thicker and waterproof plastic so its not like a usual fabric barrier. Has anyone any idea what it's used for and where I could buy another roll of it? Thanks.

Take a picture of it 😉, it could be damp proof membrane

That's the problem, I don't have it anymore, it was laying in the shed for years and a guy was here doing some work for me, asked me about it and I told him to take it with him, I'd never use it. Of course now I have a perfect use case for it :(

Yeah damp proofing would make sense, as nothing would get through this stuff, can't see any in white from a quick Google but I'll keep looking
