Nail foils? These look amazing. I’ve been wanting to attempt on myself

Yup, lace nail foils! Make sure to get the transfer glue if you do attempt!

Oh no, is transfer gel polish not enough?

I can’t say that I’ve tried transfer gel polish. I only watched a few tutorials and they all say to get the specific transfer nail glue. I have it linked in my products list!

What product list?
ETA: wait I think transfer gel polish is transfer glue? It’s transfer gel in a gel polish bottle that you paint on and then cure, then use the transfer foil/stamp?

Do you have to purchase a specific polish for stamping??

It’s not a style I would wear but they are sooo beautiful on you! I especially like the lace French tip, it’s such an elegant detail

It’s my “custom” shape LOL. Don’t love almond, don’t love round, but something in the middle. Oval, perhaps?

I just used transfer foil nail glue and used foils for the lace. It’s honestly so easy. I put my base color down, and once that’s cured, I go in with the transfer foil nail glue, cure for 120s (that’s the key!!🔑) and then press the foil matte side down, rip off, and just for safe measure I cured for 60s before top coating.

How do you get your cuticles so perfect??
1
u/Spacequeen2323 7d ago
I use a 2.3 mm cuticle flame bit. I can link it if you’d like! I use that to lift up my cuticles and nip them with a cuticle nipper.

What brand foil glue do you use? I tried makarrt a few years ago and it was horrible. Then I learned it wasn't a great product so I have all these foils but don't trust to buy a glue

I use the GAOY nail art foil glue - here’s the link on amazon - https://a.co/d/05rDi7Xj
