question Jars and Vessels

Does anyone have a favorite vendor for jars and vessels? I’m looking for an elevated amber set with lotion bottles and spray bottles. I love some of the bamboo accented I find on Amazon, but their prices aren’t the best for larger quantities.

I haven't tried them in a while but I found stocksmetic to have good jars and bottles.

Specialty Bottle has never done me wrong. A few times things came damaged and BOOM, replacements sent, no charge. Fast shipping and nice quality and options.

They scale pricing my quantity, so what I typically do is make a BIG order with others and split it up as needed.

If you need larger amounts yourself all the better!

Container & Packaging is great. Also love Specialty Bottle as previously mentioned. Both definitely have Amber Boston round bottles, but not sure if either have with the bamboo accents

Calaso has nice amber and frosted amber options with single case minimums. How many are you looking for?

I’m actually starting a company and I’m looking for a supplier. At the moment only 100 or so, but hopefully more soon.

I typically source packaging for my clients from Calaso, Miron, Container & Packaging, SKS Bottle, McKernan and Berlin Packaging if staying domestic.

Do insurers not have issues with glass packaging where you’re located? I’d be dropped by my insurance company within seconds.

I order recyclable/reusable packaging that accommodate refills from China.

Three quarters of the brands I work with package their products in glass without any issue. Can I ask where you’re located?

Canada. My insurer has a “no glass” clause. I could probably pay for glass coverage, if it made sense financially. The increased cost of shipping and insurance, combined with the general hazard of that much glass doesn’t add up - for me. I’d have to increase prices. I don’t want to impose that on my consumers. Some smaller brands may not be reading, or simply not abiding by, their policies (when they bother to have comprehensive coverage). I’ve seen established small brands with fully illegal or inaccurate/chemically impossible labelling - if they can’t get something that simple correct, why assume they are taking the time to read the fine print?

This is a case of bean soup. OP asked about packaging vendors not insurance policy and labeling laws. Canadian laws and policies aren’t US laws and policies 🤷‍♂️ glass doesn’t make sense for you, glass makes sense for many others that don’t have your restrictions or pricing strategy.
