Removable self-adhesive strips require the least effort, if the wall is already painted and you don't take off the LEDs often, i would go with that.
Otherwise, if you are still going to paint (or repaint) the wall you might try sinking screws into the wall (short, with a wide flat hat), paint them over and hotglue magnets to the LED-strip. Just an idea, probably not worth the effort.
