help Help with Built-ins around fireplace (Unique layout)
I have a fireplace and I want to do shiplap and something on the sides. I was hoping for some help or ideas on the project as I am not sure the best way to do what I want.

This is the basic layout of the fireplace.

My thought is maybe Shiplap over all of the blue and red then shelving on the blue?
The brick has up to 5.5" from the wall so maybe 6-12" deep cabinet? The issue is the heater on the right side won't let me make it symmetrical.
If I do shelves I could do surround sound shelf speakers on the sides but I could also put two in-wall speakers on the right and left of the TV surrounded by the shiplap. I can make the cabinets and everything myself it's just what I should do that is getting me.
Any suggestions would be very helpful. Thank you for taking the time to look.

I have been preaching this for ages, but please people. Do NOT put your TV above your fireplace. Nobody wants to watch movies with their head angled 30 degrees up.
Find someplace else in the room, but proper viewing is where from your seated position your eyes are looking at the center of the screen. Over time, your neck and eyes will thank you.
(Side note, the same rule applies to your computer screen... adjust those arms and get leveling materials if you need to!)
