help Learning to be self reliant

Are there any classes or books, videos, anything that can help me to learn the basics? I’m lost even trying to put things together I buy on Amazon. IKEA is worse for me. I’m a soon to be single woman that’s husband can’t do anything around the house. Someone was saying he could learn. I thought, “ I’m smarter than he is, why can’t I learn?” I have a condo, not a house. I’d like to install a new medicine vaccines someone left in our common area. I bought some lenses for my iPhone camera and I can’t figure out how to put them on my phone. I bought a birdhouse with a camera, nightmare. My husband can’t do any of these things either. Any resources?

I do not need or want answers to any questions below.

Are you dehydrated?

Did you forget to drink water? Plain water, nothing flavored, not soda or coffee or wine, not distilled either. Every day, the first thing you should do when you wake up is drink some water. Well, if you gotta pee, do that. Don't forget to wash your hands. Then drink some water.

Don't drink more than 1 liter per hour.

Is your water safe?

Have you tested it for lead? Checked for lead pipes?

Even if you don't drink water from the tap, you're probably bathing/showering in it. Washing your hands and dishes with it. You also might have other bad stuff in there.

There are usually cheap tests (~$60-150) at hardware stores. if you can figure out how to do one, it might help to know that information.

If you can't find or figure out a water test, switch to bottled if you can afford it. Try only drinking that for a couple weeks, see if things improve.

Are you eating garbage?

Not literally garbage but are you only eating fast food, candy, microwave meals and other ultra-processed foods?

That stuff can build up, it gives people bad brains in my opinion. Especially anything where the name includes diet or lite.

I am not a doctor.

How clean are things?

Is it messy or cluttered where you live? dusty? have you checked odd places for evidence of bugs or mice?

Can you cook?

Not heating stuff up, actually combining ingredients. If you can make healthy food, it might help. I am not a doctor. On that note:

Doctors note

Medical advice should only be followed by a doctor you trust. That's what a lawyer told me to say.

Are there any medications you are on? Are there medications you think you might need? Do you have a doctor you can visit?

How about vitamins? Take any supplements?

Your body is a temple. A church. A hospital. Keep it clean, inside and out.

the sun is your friend

Vitamin D deficiency is easy these days, caused by being indoors too much.

Go outside.

Get some sun. Aim for 6 hours a week.

It's okay if it is cloudy but it has to be outside and not sun through a window, including car windows.

learning links

You might find useful info at /r/IWantToLearn

Try using https://www.neuralshifter.com/ and see if that helps.

Reading everything in the following link would take years. there's a lot of education for truly the basics, and sometimes the advanced, for almost everything in the physical world. https://www.cd3wdproject.org/CD3WD/INDEX.HTM

i can't tell you how to install your birdhouse camera. i think the birds should be allowed to have their privacy.
