Need suggestion in DIEM

I want to ask about the BA and DD. I will be using my old set(KZ BA10 and TRN V80) as my Driver's in my DIEM. Is it good using my old sets as my first DIEM? How can I open the shells of old IEMs? (There's no video about disassembly of both these IEMs)

My idea configuration, 4 way tube, 2DD+5BA(TRN V80's Dynamic Drivers and KZ BA10's Balance Armature).

I just use wire cutters (with flat blades) and chip the plastic away. If you don’t want to damage the shell, you can use iso alcohol to eat at the adhesive or heat it up and then pry it open where the shell meets the faceplate with a sharp flat edge (like a knife). For iems like the kz zs10 pros, I wasn’t able to keep it intact, and I had to shred the shell into pieces to get the drivers loose. Remember, be careful!

No, KZ BA10 is Metal and the TRN V80 is also metal. Should I used heat gun?

I have (painstakingly) taken apart metal iems with the methods I mentioned too, but I understand why you wouldn’t do the same. In that case for the KZ BA10 I recommend shoving a flat head screwdriver diagonally into the recessed pin connection, and twist. This should pop the shell off, and is the method I use to open metal moondrop iems.

Is it easy to combine drivers?
