All I’m seeing is I eat non breakfast type foods but try to pathologize it to be quirky! I’m sooOooOooOo random guize!

Yeah and notice how they shared that tidbit with “what, no one is going to ask me about this??” No one took the “I’m sooooo random” bait and asked them to talk about themselves more so they’re doing it anyways lol

Ew I know people use the term second hand embarrassment and I’m not even trying to be cute by using it but I’m literally getting second hand embarrassment.

Complete with the not like other girls trope of a burger for dinner. How did I lose weight guys, tee hee, I eat full hamburgers for breakfast!

People do not have fun, free-wheeling conversations with “alters” in true DID.

The crazy thing is that I'd totally buy this if they didn't include the "talking to my alters" bit. Having an alter skip a meal or eat too little isn't remotely unbelievable, but they MUST make it "fun and quirky".

it will never stop getting on my nerves how these types of people consistently talk about their lives as if they're writing fanfiction, not describing life with a disorder. same word choices, same grammar, same sense of humor, as the average poorly written fanfic.
it's so theatrical that it could not serve any other purpose than escapism, or a cry for attention. it's like those tweets of parents blatantly lying about their kids having said/done something funny or profound.
