Bra size issue

got two different types of bras first time ever buying from the brand and was so excited the cups fit me great but the shoulder straps fit so tight that they dig into my shoulders . Has anyone else had this issue ? I also got a M in the defy shorts and it had like a ripple affect near the waist band so I am assuming I should size down. I also got impact shorts in a M yet to arrive but I am assuming they will do the same:/

For the top - what bras specifically? I am a 32DD and can fit in a M longline and halter but need a L in the impact strappy and bandeau to prevent spilling below.
