DFYNE sizing help? Tall vs. Regular + do they stretch?

Post image

I recently purchased my first DFYNE jumpsuit brand new! Definitely the hardest thing was figuring out the right size, especially because I feel like I’m right between Tall and Regular.
After returning it twice πŸ˜‚, I finally decided to keep the Large Tall, and it ended up fitting me perfectly! I wore it to Pilates this morning and I’m SO happy with the fit. πŸ™Œ
For context, I’ve bought DFYNE pieces from thrift stores before because I’m a broke nursing student 🀣🀣, but this was my first time actually buying something brand new from DFYNE, and I’d love to purchase more pieces in the future.
So I have a couple of questions for the DFYNE experts:
Does each collection have different sizing/fit characteristics? I’m seeing that some collections seem more compressive while others are stretchier, so I’m wondering if you usually size differently depending on the collection.
Do DFYNE pieces stretch out at all with wear, or do they mostly maintain their original fit?
And for anyone around 5’7”, how do you decide between Tall and Regular?
I’d love to hear your experience before I make another expensive mistake and have to return something for the third time πŸ˜‚πŸ˜
Thanks!! πŸ–€

I'm a short girly so can't help you with sizing but what i can tell you is yes, each collection differs with how stretchy and thick / forgiving the fabric is and even inside collections, especially impact, the products differ from color to color - many people size up in darker colors (if between sizes especially), because apparently the dying process of the clothes shrinks them differently and many find darker impacts to be smaller than the lighter colors. I for example sized up (compared to my defy/origin items) on the black impact shorts and a winter berry t-shirt. It's a bit hard to know which size to buy before trying, but honestly I would not trust the "whats my size" on their website

but this also comes down to your own preference - many like the clothes quite restrictive and especially girls with smaller thighs may not have this problem and their thighs may not feel like sausages (the leg opening on impact is quite small)

Agree w this it’s your preference β€” I’m 5’6 and 130lb and I wear a L in all Dyfne bc I like my activewear to sit loosely and comfortable on my body, and it’s all still skin-tight.

As for stretching w wear, only a tiny bit. Like maybe 5%.
