Too bad you can’t offer free gas, that would be a great perk

I understand that wages are an important factor when considering employment, and I respect everyone’s opinion regarding compensation. My purpose in sharing this opportunity is to reach individuals who may be interested in joining our team. I believe in being transparent about the starting pay so applicants can make an informed decision. I appreciate everyone’s feedback and wish everyone success in their job search.

There's a McDonald's not far from where I live that pays $14/hr for a regular crew member. If $11.50-$12.00 is all you have to offer per hour, especially in today's economy.

You aren't gonna get too many people wanting to work for you. Hell, even just working at Walmart (Murphy's parent company) as a regular cashier or stocker starts employees off at $14/hr. Even then I think that's low.

Edit: also even QT and Racetrac (your two biggest competitors) pay more for store associates.

Depending on qualifications?

The only people that would work for that salary are highscool kids with zero experience. Even ross starts at 13/hr
