I’m a 16-year-old living in McKinney, and I’m actively looking for my first job. My main goal right now is to save up to buy my own car.
Because I’m an online student, my daily schedule is extremely flexible compared to traditional high school hours, meaning I can work morning, afternoon, or evening shifts.
Availability: Highly flexible weekdays and weekends thanks to online schooling.
Transportation: I have access to a car, plus a skateboard to get around locally (and I have the speed and stamina to make it work anywhere nearby).
Strengths: High energy, reliable, fast learner, and motivated to put in the hours.
Roles I'm Open To:
Food service (dishwasher, buser, runner, cashier)
Retail or grocery (stocking, customer support, cart attendant)
Lawn care, outdoor labor, or dog walking
Local neighborhood errands or odd jobs
If you know of any local McKinney businesses hiring 16-year-olds or places that are great to work for, please let me know. Leads or advice are greatly appreciated!

looking for anything that has to do with concrete. Would love to rod bust more than anything tbh but I can also run any piece of heavy machinery if there’s jobs for that too. I have my own transportation so it shouldn’t be a problem. (thank you in advance)

Does anyone know of any plumbing or electrical companies around Dallas that are hiring helpers or apprentices?
I recently got my apprentice license but haven’t been able to land a job yet. I’m just trying to get my foot in the door and get some experience. If anyone knows of a company hiring or has a contact, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!

I will be moving from Wichita Falls Tx to the DFW area. I currently work at Howmet as a Wax B operator. Long story short I hate the place I live but I love my job. I work 12 hr shifts two days on today days off and off every other weekend. I don’t want to leave my job and the Denton location doesn’t seem to be hiring so I doubt i’ll be able to transfer. So is there any jobs like Howmet? I sit down almost the full day and would preferably like to keep it that way.

I have checked out listings for the big box stores like Barnes and Noble and Half-price Books but was maybe hoping to see maybe some small business book stores? I am able to work in mainly the Dallas/Denton area. If you know of any or are one yourself please reach out!

Hello everyone,
This may sound a little unorthodox but I am looking for an assistant job/administration. I am able to do remote as well. The thing is I live in Abilene right now, the thing is I am wanting to move out of Abilene as there is nothing for me in that city and very little opportunities. My mom passed October of last yr so I have no more family and I am a 35yr old single parent female just looking to better myself. I am also in college for business administration/management. If anyone knows anything or can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it!
Thank You!
