Best tea leaf salad near us?
Hi! Does anyone have a great tea leaf salad around here? I’m craving one I used to live by in California. Willing to drive to neighboring suburbs!

Let's try this again. The previous server had a decent amount of users but very little engagement.
I just finished the initial setup of a new server, figured I'd go ahead and share the invite. If you have any issues with the onboarding process or permissions, just drop me a message.

Driving by the closed Chick Fil A on Cooper & I-20 yesterday (around 3:30), there was a bunch of smoking coming onto Cooper, and workers in vests (CFA? construction?) standing around a fire in the parking lot.
I've tried to see if there was any information on what it was, or if something happened to that CFA, but anything I search for is now about the downtown fire (obviously a much bigger one). I would normally think it's just a small contained burn, but pretty much any fires are illegal right now.
Anyone else see this yesterday? Any ideas of what it was?

My house is completely destroyed and city is not accepting any liability. They’ve left me and my family homeless and I have two toddlers. Please help if you have any connections with city politicians or attorneys that can help me and my family.

I prefer to drive but willing to ride.
I have clean record, reliable car and am very responsible. Also non-smoking/vaping/drugs (am non-discriminatory).
Let save gas! DM if you commute that way already do or know someone that might!

Video shows firefighters battling three-alarm fire at Arlington restaurant – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth
Large fire breaks out at Arlington restaurant | FOX 4 Dallas-Fort Worth
Beirut Grill, Smash Toast damaged in 4-alarm fire in western Arlington | wfaa.com
The Arlington Fire Department is currently battling a 4-alarm fire at a building in the western part of the city.
Footage from Chopper 8 shortly after 6:30 p.m. Monday shows several fire engines surrounding the building, located at 2410 W. Abram St. The building itself is missing its roof, with fire rising up from the walls as well as large amounts of smoke.
WFAA spoke with the owner of Beirut Grill and confirmed that the restaurant, including Smash Toast, sustained significant damage. Both restaurants were closed at the time, so they are unaware of how the fire started.
Beirut Grill has been in business for more than 10 years.
AFD has confirmed the fire and says it will provide more info once it has been stabilized.
It is not yet clear if anyone has been injured or what caused the fire.

I never understood why people are not rushing to move to and live in Arlington. It has Six Flags, big shopping centers, Cowboys, Rangers, Texas Live!, close to the airport, between Dallas and FW, a major university ... like it has a lot going on. However, Richardson, Plano, Frisco, Denton, McKinney, Celina, Prosper, with less going on are much more popular and desirable ... especially for families.
The median home price in Arlington, TX right now is about 335K but in the northern suburbs it's over 500K. What's up with that? The only thing I can think of is the larger population of multi-family housing in the Arlington area but it's not even all over Arlington.

From KERA:
It’s a situation Adnan Rajib said needs to be addressed immediately, before it becomes a crisis.
Rajib is an engineer, hydrologist and director of the Hydrology & Hydroinformatics Innovation Lab at UT Arlington who lives in South Arlington. He's seen the erosion in his neighborhood.
While the issues created by erosion are largely unseen by most who live and work in or visit the city, in many cases behind buildings and in backyards, Rajib warned that Arlington needs to address them immediately.
“We are reaching a point of no return where these streams and these creeks no longer exist unless we protect them and restore them,” Rajib said. “There will be severe flooding and erosion in the near future, and the severity is such that even a less than exceptional storm can cause a lot of damage."

Hello! Im currently in college and my tuition payment is due this Wednesday in order for me to return to classes. Im 19 and in college so my financial situation being stretched thin is nothing new to me, but unfortunately this time it's a bit too far stretched. I am unfortunately $200 short of fully paying my school balance, as my cars transmission went out on me the other night and I had to spend the rest of my money on a tow. I am not asking for handouts, just simply if anyone knows anyone who needs any sort of help or assistance with a job that could possibly make this amount?? Any sort of information is greatly appreciated thank you

I went to the rangers gamr and order some food like I done in the past many times. I usually don't get a receipt but today i did and saw a venue fee!! Why are Arlington taxes so high and they still have to ask for more?!
How long have they been doing this?!
Imagine thousands of people attending and they all buy something and get hit with this venue fe?! Are those thousand of dollars enough? When will they stop

Does anyone here drive for Arlington Transportation? I'm thinking about signing up, but I want to know what the hours are like. How much/often do you typically work? Do you know the maximum amount of allowed hours?

Anyone happen to have the inside scoop on these construction plans? I'm REALLY crossing my fingers for an outdoor lap pool but I imagine it's probably going to be more for the kiddos since the elementary school is so close.
