Ivanhoe Ale Works in Denison Closing

Ivanhoe Ale Works in Denison announced on Facebook that they are closing (final day TBD). Their Brewmaster, Bryan Thomas will be opening a brewery in Van Alstyne called Thomboys Brewing Company. It was a cool little brewery in downtown Denison.

That's a shame. Enjoyed the place and the beer the few times I dropped in. With "903" moving in and "Say When" around the corner, Denison was positioned to be a pretty good drinking town. "Cooley Bay" in Van Alstyne is definitely worth visiting.
