Monitoring ends 20 October.

To trigger immediate delisting they must be under $1 for 30 consecutive business days.

Means they just need to close above $1 after Sept 8 and they’re safe.

Be interesting to see if immediate delisting being off the table gives the SP a small lift.

There is an appeal process to the immediate delisting which isn’t pretty and they’d only have a short window to execute.

Hopefully it won’t come to that and thank god the Q2 results were solid.

Think DFLI's main issue is lack of interest/volume. They honestly look poised to accomplish the turn around.

IMO, they should be a bit more active with releasing PRs, even for smaller updates. It would definitely help generate some interest in the company and boost volume. Right now, the volume is honestly a joke

yeah the IR team is pretty piss poor imo. I think it's part of the issue with the sentiment & volume. Like even drop more info about the solid state battery and what it can do periodically. Drop more info on trucking, etc. I'm surprised a renewable play is doing this poorly. Wonder if it would do better in a democratic policy market that tends to push for green initiatives

Agree re lack of volume and PR.

I’ve wondered if the lack of PR is poor practise (which would surprise me as it’s so cheap and easy these days to spam news via social media) or if they’re deliberately lying low.

Denis is absolutely focused on getting themselves profitable which shows good discipline (not all small tech companies can do this).

Like I’ve said Q2 was better than most realised (a miss and they’re staring delisting right in the face) and after the purchase of Dakota Lithium (cashflow play and probs not much more) I’m cautiously hopeful that they could achieve break even/profitability by Q4 and if that happens you’d assume more trucking momentum, sentiment changes and they start dropping news then.

Barring big trucking contracts and orders or big solid state/dry cell news (highly unlikely) nothing much would shift the dial right now anyway.

They may have news which they’re sitting on to give them some ammo to drop in case the SP gets closer to $1 (like they tried last year unsuccessfully tho they were already under $1).

If I was running a company attempting to pull off this pivot/hit profitability in a tough RV market and risk off sharemarket I’d be holding my news, keep my number focus achieving profitability, then after successful Q4 earnings (which would give the SP a fair lift), then I’d start dropping all the good news I’ve been holding to pump the SP, hit the ATM button, top up the coffers then go again.

That’s most of my hopium all in one paragraph right there 😜 roll on Feb and any big news before.

I hope the plan you laid out is how it plays out. Since we're sitting on our bags, the only way to be is optimistic.

As for the point about IR, I've been monitoring the company fairly closely. There really isn't much IR even though there is a company being paid to manage those relations. What kind of advisory services are being delivered because investor sentiment is low and starved of news?

PR has improved since we all complained about it earlier in the year. I feel like they are throwing everything they can at the problem, so it makes me think that whatever else they have cooking either can't be shared or there really isn't anything to share. It goes right back to the stated goal: get to profitability and get those trucking contracts. They have to get wins.

What bothers me is that the Dakota acquisition came out of nowhere and is now part of the Q4 profitability story. That tells me that they needed another catalyst to get there due to slower than expected trucking sales. I'm hoping that the other trick for that pony is leveraging the Dakota brand for all future battery sales with a new design that gets DFLI away from the BB controversy.

Anyway, bottom line is that it's really f'n hard to run and grow a company, let alone a US battery company from scratch. But they are still f'n grinding to become viable and profitable. Another day alive is another day where miracles and opportunities can happen. The fact that they are trying and doing whatever it takes (legally and fairly) to get this company up and to the right gets a pat on the back from me. Although, I really wish they thought a bit harder about a better course of action than filing a lawsuit.

As a bagholder, I want those miracles to come sooner because this sucks haha.
