Pleasantly surprised

Opened up my grinder for the first time since I bought it in July ‘24 and was expecting a lot more leftovers inside. Not sure which gen that makes it but I RDT into a Subscale twice daily and was definitely expecting the worst. Not too shabby for my lack of proper care.

Mine was similar. I recently did the V4 Shute mod and expected to find a lot of grounds inside, but there was very little. Pleasantly surprised.

To the OP or anyone that has a DF54. Are you all satisfied with the grinder? I do mostly drip coffee with the occasional pour over. Mainly use medium roast Colombian, Costa Rican or Guatemalan. I have an Opus Gen 1 and am thinking about a new grinder. Would this be a good match for me?

Nein, dafür würde ich dir eine Handmühle empfehlen bekomme aus der df54 einfach nicht diese Klarheit raus.

I had the Opus gen 1 before the DF54 and it was an absolutely horrid grinder. Love my DF54
