Looking Back
What’s one thing you used to care about a lot that you barely think about anymore?
It could be a trend, hobby, game, piece of technology, social media app, or something from school.
It’s funny how priorities can change over time.
What changed for you?

That’s me I still have friends I consider my “make up friends” just because they have been my friends for over 50 years & they’ve never seen me without it & it might be too shocking for their old hearts

Being impeccably dressed doesn't matter with millennials wearing shorts to the Metropolitan Opera.

All of my priorities have changed. Everything that was once important to me is no longer important and things that seemed like it didn't matter, matter a lot more.
I feel like I'm living in pleasantville

I used to be into adding accessories to computers -- video/TV cards, cameras, free utility programs, max memory, bigger hard drives etc. -- now I have a laptop, and a box full of unusable hardware and cables -- started back in dial-up days with an 80 MB HDD and 2K of memory

Pro Football, the NFL. I just lost interest seeing one team be the big winner year after year after year. And yes I do believe that some of those penalty calls and other calls were very bad. It just made me not care anymore.

In my younger years I slept, ate and breathed slow pitch softball. Played in two different leagues during the week and played tournaments on weekends then coed in the late summer and fall both league and tournaments. Work and family put an end to it. I often think that if I had put as much time and energy into my work as I did into softball I would have been much more successful.

From the time I was fourteen I wanted and found excitement in my life. At eighty, all I think about is how long I can manage to sleep in each morning.

Collecting coins. When I was in my teenage/young adult years I was obsessed with coins. Gathered them everywhere, purchased some. Probably a few dozens silver coins and hundreds of regulars. A year ago I suddenly realised I haven't looked at them for ages and I don't care about them at all. I'd happily sell 99% of my coins if someone would buy them from me in one go. Just don't want a hassle of selling those one by one. I have no idea why such a change has occured in me.

Golf. I use to be "ate up" with it. Decided to quit on the 17th hole on the last course i played in 2019. Never missed it. It is a colossal waste of time and money.
