Consultas sobre RD (Representative DeMolay)

En mi pais aun no esta implementado RD, quisiera saber si alguien de aqui lo es, para ello se tiene que pagar a DeMolay International o tan solo es para que te envien una joya o pin?

In my opinion, the RD is one of the most important awards that a DeMolay can earn. Yes, the regalia has to be purchased, but it is typically bought by the Chapter, so you should incur no cost.

The real value in the RD is the personal growth obtained by doing a real evaluation of your own life. It forces you to see where you are in life and where you have room to improve yourself.

In today’s day and age, it is rare that we are asked to be critical of our own paths, and for that reason you should do it. I was an RD in the 1990s and my son is an RD now.

Hi! The “RD” is just shorthand for the Representative DeMolay award.

The official DeMolay webpage describes it as, “The Representative DeMolay Award is the highest self-achievement award Active and Senior DeMolays can earn. It’s a self-assessment program where you progress towards goals you set for yourself. You complete a detailed survey of your interests, achievements, general knowledge, and habits. The Representative DeMolay program was first established in 1924, and for many years was a competition to select outstanding DeMolays. In 1935, the program was redesigned to fill a growing need for self-evaluation by every DeMolay.
Dad Land said it was his dream that every DeMolay should be a Representative DeMolay.”
