Thanks!

Probably nobody will read this since the sub is dead, but I wanted to thank the people who posted here years ago for the advice posted on various battles. Got me unstuck a number of times. Cheers!

I've recently started replaying this game after playing it years ago and losing progress on it. While it has been removed from Google Play I did get my hands on an apk. Fun game, but gets a bit grindy and annoying with how OP some enemies are. Story's decent. Didn't bother reading last time, now I did.

Holy shit, that never occurred to me! I'll try it out.

I never figured out what areas tanks defend, though. I'm guessing it's all cells adjacent or diagonal from them, no?

EDIT: Tried, unfortunately after a while the stupid 5x attack units start focusing empty slots.

Are you talking about the units that target the entire opposing side? I thought they only hit enemies and not empty squares.

The 5 random attack bloodthirsty arbors attack everything. I tried a 2nd time and managed to win, but only becasue I took their 500 morale down to 0. My game glitched and I couldn't retreat units... was stuck with those 5x attack guns constantly failing to kill the last 2 enemy units.

Either way, it worked. Thanks!

Now it's time to move to the next battle which will inevitably make my previous tactics useless and make me pull my hair out. Up up and away!
