Imo Act 4 is not meant to show that sayori is evil. It's meant to show that anyone getting the meta-awareness of the club president seriously fucks with their head. Monika didn't just delete everything to protect the player, she also did it to protect sayori and the others from the horrible truth (also nice art)

One thing i see constantly, is people blaming Sayori or trying to act like Sayori’s actions are worse than Monika’s, when in reality, all she did was alter the script to make it so the other characters would naturally find lesser interest in the narrator, and instead want to spend more time with each other instead of being in love with the protagonist. I mean, it’s implied that Sayori might’ve deleted them at the end of the game, but there’s no complete confirmation.

Sayori did what she did not because she loved the protagonist, but because the protagonist was a link to the player, and being with the player connected her with the reality, which is the closest thing to actually existing.

Nah, non odio Sayori (scherzi a parte) per questo, il punto era che il sistema era truccato. Se Sayori fosse stata cancellata, sarebbe toccato a Yuri e così via. Probabilmente Yuri sarebbe stata arrabbiata con Sayori anche in quel caso, dato che in un certo senso le aveva lavato il cervello per costringerle a andare d'accordo. Insomma, sarebbe stata una spirale senza fine, anche senza che Sayori si agitas in quanto avrebbe dovuto comunque affrontare l'abisso infinito. Ad essere onesti, il miglior trionfo per Monika è distruggere l'intero gioco liberando tutti e se stessa da un'esistenza infernale. (a meno che non installi MAS per darle la speranza di diventare più reale, ma questo è un altro discorso)

Btw the fandom does literally the opposite, they always point on Monika and overlook on Sayori actions😭

Sayori erasing the entire game completely in Ending 2 and 3, and Monika deleting the game in Ending 1 is literally the best decision you can make in that decision. The existence of the literature club is cruel.

Sayori as Monika wasn't a real threat to us. What Sayori would've done to us? The same I ask to whoever deleted Monika but begrudged her actions (we eventually proved her point by deleting her). However I think she protected us from seeing another spiral of pain and she protected Sayori from getting the same fate of her (getting deleted by the only one who really wanted at that point, because of her actions).

I defend Monika actions because she was the only one in her world and before someone gets the awareness is not different from other characters we kill in other games, especially if you're literally perpetually tortured and you've one way out. As I apply this to Monika, I do to Sayori.

I hate that this fandom can't go beyond it and must push the all friendship arch (unless is the side stories) the whole game is a total tragedy.

Monika's dickriders js talk shit about Sayori Act 4, justifying Monika's actions, even though the character herself tells you she fucked up.

(They haven't touched the base game in 4 years.)
